3/4/2024 0 Comments Kerkythea fabric material pack![]() This version will also be adapted to Blender 2.5 and will use the new color management feature among other improvements and developments… stay tuned and be patient ![]() ![]() with 2 new test scenes, one with a fur-testing object, and the other with an “architectural” one which will have orthogonal/flat surfaces precisely to test materials in not curved surfaces. Some people have posted really funky test-ball ideas, and I thought a good simple answer would be to have a flat plinth underneath the ball so you could see what it looks like on a plain.Īctually in like December I plan to release a new version of the b.m.p.s. Just a suggestion for the default ‘ball’ - maybe put a flat ‘podium’ underneath it to test the effect of materials on non-curved surfaces. If you take Lux Render, Indigo or even biased renderers like mental ray or Kerkythea, their material scenes also take long rendertimes… Is not yours or my fault, is just the way it is with this type of scenes… The good news is that with 2.5 developments in raytracing, rendertimes improved from 10 to 20% in b.m.p.s. was made to be as realistic and physically plausible as possible… That’s the idea of this Material Scenes… Long rendertimes are “normal”. I rendered the sandy soil material out with the default settings on Tuqueque’s scene and it took over 55 minutes on the machine I’m using. Master Domino - thank you for the offer, that would be appreciated.
